BRIDAL SESSION OPTIONS

OPTION 1: Studio Wedding Dress Session


This bridal session is the most traditional option, but we still infuse the shoot with modern artistry in the lighting, poses, and overall approach. Until the era of high end digital cameras allowed photographers more flexibility for achieving beautiful results in the field, brides would often schedule a dress session in their photographer’s studio in order to assure beautiful portraits of themselves in their wedding dress. This enabled the photographer to work with ideal lighting conditions and capture the dress in a controlled environment.

Our aim today is to use the studio wedding dress session as an opportunity to capture the bride’s beauty in a breathtaking work of art. This session is fun and relaxed and intended to capture a wide range of emotions, expressions, and poses.

These sessions can be done before or after the wedding, but are usually done prior.

*If you believe you will need help getting into and out of the dress, we recommend bringing a sister or bridesmaid to the shoot to assist.



Session Fee:

  • $300 (15% off during January, February, and March)

OPTION 2: The Magazine Cover Session

This session is a unique, FineLine bridal shoot. This is something the bride can choose to do solo, but intended to be a fun shoot with a bride’s maid of honor or her entire group of bridesmaids. Each girl will have an opportunity to dress their best and receive professionally shot and edited photos. This shoot can also be a gift from the bride to her maid of honor or bridesmaids before the wedding, as a way of saying, “Thank you.”

*each magazine cover edit is pre-formatted as an 8×10 or 16×20 sized image.

Session Fee: (15% off during January, February, and March)

  • Bride only = $150
  • Bride + 1 = $200
  • each additional = $15

What's Included:

  • Photographer's time and talent
  • Up to 1 hour in the studio
  • Outfit changes - up to 3 for the bride, up to 2 for each bridesmaid
  • Password protected online viewing gallery
  • Gallery includes guaranteed minimum of 6 professionally edited photos of the bride + 2 edited photos of each bridesmaid
  • Gallery also includes 1 magazine cover style edit for each of bride’s outfits. Also includes 1 magazine cover style edit for each bridesmaid
  • Each girl’s magazine cover edit will have 1 unique line of text to match their personality or role in the bridal party
  • CD of hi-res edited images with unlimited copyrights (shipping of disc not included)

OPTION 3: Trash the Dress Session


This session is for the true, modern bride with an artistic spirit! The goal of the shoot is to contrast elegant clothing with an environment in which it is out of place. “Trashing the dress” is the art of deconstruction of the bride’s wedding dress to create a new piece of art. Dresses may get wet, dirty, or torn or destroyed in extreme examples (all based on how far the bride wants to push limits of the dress). Locations often involve woods, streams, or urban environments.

Session Fee: (15% off during January, February, and March)

  • $250 + travel fees for spots beyond the Greensburg area

OPTION 4: Boudoir / Pin-Up Session

Getting its roots from early hollywood glamour portraits, modern boudoir sessions portray elegance and sensuality and have seen a rebirth across the country over the past decade. Sessions can be done in studio or on-location at a private indoor or outdoor setting. Boudoir sessions are usually motivated by brides wanting to surprise their future husbands by gifting the images on or before their wedding day. Other occasions may include anniversaries, birthdays, valentine's day, weight loss (or other body changes), and for servicemen overseas.

In addition to shooting this style of photography for several years, FineLine owner and photographer, Fred Findley, has studied boudoir photography at the San Diego studio of international photographers and teachers "The Boudoir Divas."

Session Fee: (15% off during January, February, and March)

  • $400 for studio session (15% off during January, February, and March)
  • add travel costs for on location shoots (contact for quote)
  • client responsible for any additional costs for location or props
  • hair / makeup artist currently not offered

*Editiing of boudoir sessions is typically the most time / skill intensive services we offer. For this reason, CD of hi-res final edits with copyrights is not included. Prints are available for purchase through your viewing gallery. Albums can also be designed as your final gift to that special someone. The CD of images with copyrights can be purchased for $150.
