The Video Guestbook is one of the most fun and affordable ways to capture those fun messages from your guests during your wedding reception.
Pricing for the Video Guestbook:
Pricing is $350 + tax and includes 5 hours of run time ( in addition to setup / tear down time ). Usually our video guestbook operator will arrive about 30 minutes before your guests arrive for cocktail hour and setup. There is no limit to the number of messages your guests can record or the length of the messages. After the reception your video guestbook DVD will be assembled at our offices and shipped to you upon completion.
Reserving the Video Guestbook:
Deposit is $100 (plus the total sales tax) with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to your event.
Video Guestbook VS. Traditional Video Camera
The traditional method of capturing video messages is typically done by the professional videographer capturing your day. The benefit of the traditional method is that the videographer is already going to be there capturing your reception. However, from years of experience we can point out that there are benefits of the video guestbook over the traditional method.
1. With the video guestbook, it becomes something for your guests to do and THEY decide when they’re ready to leave a message, rather than suddenly being confronted by a video camera and asked to leave a message. The video guestbook gives your guests the chance to plan their crazy message and deliver it when they’re ready.
2. We find that people are much more comfortable leaving a message on the video guestbook than staring into the lens of a video camera directed at them.
3. With just one videographer, we have to determine the right time to leave the dance floor and focus on gathering guest messages and make sure to then be ready for the upcoming important events. With the addition of the video guestbook, the videographer is always capturing the dancing and events while the guest messages can be recorded all night, not just when it is convenient for the videographer.
Video Guestbook VS. Video Booth
In addition to our videography and photography service, FineLine Weddings also offers a photo and video booth service. Our photo / video booth is one of the hottest services in the region, but if you’re only interested in guests leaving video messages, the video guestbook is a more economical option as it is more portable and will take up less space.
