Here it is! Wedding Day Checklist:
Wedding Day Checklist advice from Brenda at Wedding Wishes
Every bride should have a wedding checklist even if she does or doesn’t have a planner helping her.
- One of the most important parts of her wedding is to check to see who will be her ushers. They play such an important part! And with a good planner, the number of ushers per guests is taken care of, along with the smooth flow of guests and organized seating, taking care of family most of all.
- A program for her ceremony and/or her day. These add an elegance or enhance the theme of the wedding and are a great keepsake as well as letting guests know what they can expect for the celebration.
- Using a professional planner is one of the best gifts you can give yourself for your wedding. They will utilize about 3-5 different checklists throughout the planning and coordinating of your day. Nothing is left to chance and you have their experience to put together what you really want, and what you need!
- Have an insurance policy! Keep proof of what you have paid to your vendors. You could have a note that they must sign saying they received his/her payment.
- Have tip envelopes – No one should be carrying around a huge pile of money in their pocket, so have envelopes prepared with names and amounts that you are giving them.
- Get your honeymoon bags packed – Have your luggage packed early so there is one less thing to worry about!
- Plan for a gift caretaker – Have someone in charge of taking your presents home by giving her a key or have a relative take them home so everything can be there when you return.
- Do not forget the emergency kit! Those small essentials like tissues, an umbrella, makeup, and those extra little things that can make your day less stressful!
