Grand Hall Priory Reception It was great getting back to my home town of North Huntingdon on Saturday for Melissa and Jonathan’s wedding ceremony. In fact, I started the morning off at Melissa’s parents’ house which was probably 200 yards from where I grew up. The ceremony was held at St. Agnes church and the reception that followed was at the beautiful Grand Hall Priory in Pittsburgh. FineLine Weddings has a very close relationship with the Saint Vincent college, parish, and monastic community. Four members of the FineLine Weddings team graduated from Saint Vincent College and owner Fred Findley still teaches photo and video there part-time. Bedford Springs Resort Session Having just finished shooting and editing Laura and Noah’s engagement session photos today, I seriously have to wonder if Bedford Springs Resort isn’t my new favorite engagement shoot location. The historical venue offers amazing outdoor and indoor spots in what seems to be a never ending photographer’s dream. On June 18, 2011 we had the privilege of sharing in Cynthia and Jason’s special day! Their beautiful ceremony was held at the First Presbyterian Church in New Castle, PA followed by a reception at the gorgeous Alpine Room. Southside Works Engagement Session Every time I’ve visited the Southside Works shopping and dining area in Pittsburgh I always thought, “This would be a perfect place for an engagement shoot.” I was glad I was able to easily convince Meghan and Ryan into having their engagement photos done in this beautiful spot. The story of capturing Jeanette and Kyle’s wedding day at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts is a wonderful one. Last fall we had the wonderful opportunity to create an energetic wedding music video for Pamela (a pittsburgh photographer) and her husband Mark.
